Went on the trip this day! It was very hard waking up, but I think in comparison to the previous trip, my body was more prepared and thus I didn’t feel as shitty getting up so early. All in all, I think the trip was just as well constructed and objective experience overall as the first trip Jan 19, 2020, but because we had experienced it before and the vibe was very similar to the first trip (and also because it was only me and mulan hanging out with each other and not really anyone else), I think it wasn’t as distinctive of an experience overall as the first trip. It was still really fun though - we first went to Dundee, where there was a cool ship that went to Antarctica and back which was cool to check out, and then Mulan and I went to McDonalds which wasn’t as good as I thought because it didn’t have fries, and the only food item available really was this egg thing. Then, after Dundee, we went to Dunottar Castle, which was very cool - check out the photos for the views—had a really good time with @mulan there, was taking selfies of us kissing in front of the views, which I thought was cool. Then afterwards, we went to Aberdeen, where we didn’t do much - we went to this Hungarian place for food, which was cool but unfortunately the food we got for starters (mozzarella sticks) was pretty much the same food that we got for the main meal, and the dessert was this food that I didn’t enjoy that much. I still liked it though. Then, mulan and I pretty much walked through the city, checked out this cool graffiti art area, checked out the second largest building made of granite in the world, and more. On the bus back, they were playing brave, but I didn’t watch all of it, I was feeling pretty nauseous and I fell asleep using @mulan as a shoulder to lean on and she was so nice about it. Not sure what I did the night afterwards, but everything was fine. Oh yeah the Kobe news happened, and it really affected me - very crazy to think about, makes you think about your own mortality and how you need to be close with your family and let them know what you’re thinking and your feelings, because anything can happen at any moment. And this really crazy thing happened to me about rice getting stuck in my throat, and I couldn’t get it out even when I tried to swallow water twice - it was really crazy, and just felt like a really upside-down, crazy type of night.
