Plan for today:
- I will get up on time, and get ready so I can be downstairs by the time that everyone is meeting for the botanical gardens.
- After that, I will clean up some stuff on my to do list, including project Euler, finishing the n primes problem in rust.
- I will listen to the habits audio book for at least 15 minutes.
- I will have a rough idea of what societies I would be interested in doing.
- Reply to the Akuna capital guy
What Actually Happened
Didn’t end up going to the botanical gardens thing. Actually ended up sleeping till 2, 2:30pm which was ridiculous but I didn’t feel physically well. Before that, @mulan left, because she didn’t have her computer and she kept waiting for me to get up, and I didn’t get up, and I was just sitting there and got into a really depressive mood for some reason. Whatever I was doing, thinking, existing, I didn’t feel happy in anything I was doing unfortunately. I eventually decided to leave for Mulan’s around 4 ish, got ready and stuff, listened to a lot of the habit’s book on the bus which made me feel better, and got the shaver’s plug from Tesco. Went back to Mulan’s, downloaded avatar the last Airbender, watched some episodes of avatar the last Airbender, tried fucking but I wasn’t really in the mood unfortunately (although I was in the mood just a couple hours previously, so I had to think a bit about that, and what the ramifications of that are. Later on had an interesting conversation with mulan about how eventually it might be better for both of us if we separate for a couple years at some point - for both of us, we would get to experience what it is like to be single as an adult, and would get to realize which aspects of the other person we were genuinely happy about and which aspects we were just tolerating because we hadn’t seen enough of life and people to question otherwise. It was a very important, meaningful conversation. I later told mulan that I might prefer it if I joined a completely new 162 project group, and she was okay with it.
