Had lecture in the morning and we shuttled over. The day started out really well - I went to a barber shop (Metro Barber) to get a haircut, and it was interesting talking to the barber there. There was only one person, and it was a lot more of a small-town, comfy, talkative vibe than an assembly line of haircuts which is what it felt like in Berkeley. She had a cute cockerel called Kiki which was nice too. I got home and didn’t shower in time, but I went to lecture regardless. It was on crypto. Not sure what I did right after, but then I remember I was at the library pretty much all day, in one of the floors above the ground floor. I played slay the spire for like 4 hours, but then thankfully I had the motivation to walk the pub for the strategy games event, where I met a really cool guy named Donald Harvey and played Azul with him and an asian woman, and tsuro a few times as well. When I got back I played a lot of slay the spire again - I think in total I’ve played like 17 hours or something. It’s an insanely addicting game. I was trying to beat the game with silent, but I think I just don’t understand the strategy with that character.
