This was a pretty slow day. I was initially planning on going to a hike with the people I met yesterday, but didn’t end up going because I woke up at like 10:50am. There was a board game day at one of the cafés, but I didn’t go to that either. There was a backgammon event at 2pm, but I didn’t go to that either — at this point I don’t remember what I was doing, which goes to show that I should record these journal entries on the day they occur. I was able to get out of my lethargy when I went to Bonnie Burrito for food, which was amazingly good. This was the last day that I was very lethargic as well, as in the two days since, I’ve not really been too lethargic with the things that I’ve been doing.
Afterwards, I went to the trivia night thing. I initially thought that I could just go alone, but later realized that going alone isn’t as fun as going with someone else. I would rather go alone than not go at all though, and I’m proud of the fact that I was willing to go alone even if I didn’t have anyone to go with. We ended up doing really well! We placed 5th out of 32 teams. I think it was a perfect storm of sorts to be sure - we got lucky with some of the questions, and we also had a pretty good team composition — Quetza, Abe, and I had matching strengths, sort of similar to my quiz bowl team in high school. I don’t know if we’ll keep that group, but maybe when the people in the groups who aren’t as enthusiastic about quizzing stop showing up, then we’ll go back to that group. Had an argument with Mulan abo
