Woke up extra late (around 2 ish). Told Mulan that I would be where she was (this cafe in Leith Walk) in 45 minutes, but it ended up taking me almost two hours. I really should’ve updated her, especially now that I know (I should’ve known before, but now I know for sure, having actively thought about it) that she has a bigger problem with me not telling her specifically when I change my plans or when I go off track, rather than the act of me going off track in the first place. Ended up going with Mulan to Leith Walk, but we walked back home immediately.
I had a good talk with her about the realization that she had yesterday, about her mom’s personality being a recognized personality type (narcisisticChanged my beeminder goal to be waking up early! I’m going to have to stick to it if I don’t want to pay iteratively increasing sums of money lmao.
