Systems (not goals) that I want to have

  1. I want to have a going-to-sleep and waking-up system. How can I accomplish going to sleep on time?
    • Try forcing myself to go to sleep without as many sleep triggers.
    • Brush and get ready for bed much before my bedtime.
    • Read before sleeping (which can be easily time-boxed) rather than doing spelling bee, which is 1) on my phone and 2) not as time-boxed. How can I accomplish waking up on time?
    • Before going to bed, have something that will motivate me to wake up and jump out of bed.
    • Have the immediate thing that I want to work on the next morning already somewhat fleshed out. If there’s anything about it that I’m still not sure about, make sure that I already have that resolved before the next morning.
  2. I want to have a working at least x hours a day” system.
  3. I want to have a working at most y hours a day” system.
  4. I want to have a writing system.
  5. I want to have a working out system.
  6. I want to have a system for clearing out my old Things tasks (and actually doing them in a timely fashion).
  7. I have a spelling bee system, but i’ve had trouble being consistent with it lately (as of 2/14/23).
  8. I have/had a walking system, but I want to figure out how to be consistent with it independent of the Fitbit.

Of these, I think I currently have a bit of (5), although that one is also a bit of a stretch. I need to think about how I’m going to be able to accomplish all the other ones.
