Woke up pretty late ish? We were going to go to Stockbridge Market, for Mulan’s birthday! I got these two Kenyan samosas and some other dish that also tasted Indian, but better somehow. I also got the paella, even though it was the chicken one. It was pretty good, although it was very oily and maybe that’s the primary reason I thought it was really good. I’m not sure. Afterwards, we walkeddd and talked about random stuff all the way to Leith Walk, where we tried to check out the playhouse (they told us to book tickets online, but I’m not sure if we will at this point). We walked all the way across Leith Walk, checking out a cool bookstore and a couple other shops along the way.
We walked to Leith along this pretty weird road, and when we were nearby, we went to a different road, that was right next to the shore. It was pretty nice! We went to this random tea shop, where I got this drink called heartbeat and where we spent wayyyy too much time doing pretty much nothing in my opinion. Afterwards, we were going to take a bus but we found out later that it was cancelled, so we took an Uber to portabello. The beach was nice, and we took a lot of cute photos! Afterwards, it took a long time to decide at which time I felt like I might catch a cold, but we eventually decided on Japanese, where I had udon noodles for the first time I think. They were pretty good!
After that, we went to a pub quiz for an hour, where I was pretty much carrying the whole time. I realized trivia isn’t fun if only one person is involved. In fact, it’s not fun at all. I really need to cement these two groups of mine—trivia and board games—because I think I’m going to enjoy them for the rest of my life. Went back to my place afterwards, hung out with Sciennes people for a little bit but I came back to Mulan.
