White Chaney/Rajmah/Black Chaney
Similar to the Soybean stuff 202006181031, but we have to boil the beans before instead of after. This is the same for rajmah, white/black Chaney, the only difference is the boiling time (and masala, chana can have some separate masala)
Boiling
- When drowning the beans at night, water level should be about double the beans (will soak water at night)
- In the morning, add about 25% more water
Amount of time to be boiled depends on the dal
- Rajmah - about 12-13 min after the first whistle
- Chaney - 16-17 min after the first whistle
- Soybean - write in the Soybean recipe 202006181031, 7-8 min after the first whistle
Differences in preparing masala from the standard procedure 202007041522
- Olive oil instead of ghee, and there were more Chaney so we put 3 kadhchis
- 1.5 chamach
- For white chaney, put ajvain (carom seeds) (1/2 chamach)
