White Chaney/Rajmah/Black Chaney

Similar to the Soybean stuff 202006181031, but we have to boil the beans before instead of after. This is the same for rajmah, white/black Chaney, the only difference is the boiling time (and masala, chana can have some separate masala)

Boiling

  1. When drowning the beans at night, water level should be about double the beans (will soak water at night)
    • In the morning, add about 25% more water

Amount of time to be boiled depends on the dal

  1. Rajmah - about 12-13 min after the first whistle
  2. Chaney - 16-17 min after the first whistle
  3. Soybean - write in the Soybean recipe 202006181031, 7-8 min after the first whistle

Differences in preparing masala from the standard procedure 202007041522

  1. Olive oil instead of ghee, and there were more Chaney so we put 3 kadhchis
  2. 1.5 chamach
  3. For white chaney, put ajvain (carom seeds) (1/2 chamach)
