Went on my first trip to the Scottish highlands! It was a fantastic time — the views were fantastic, got to hang out with Mulan and spend my first time going out with her to a travel-type place, and got to hang out with Harini and Quetza. We went to a really beautiful loch at first, then went to a place called Rest and be Thankful where I took my profile picture, 2 different castles including one which was in the middle of a lake during the summer and is only accessible during the winter, and the other one which is in Inveraray. Then we went to a church, which was cool to check out, then straight to Oban, where everyone else had fish and chips (which were decidedly mediocre), then we went to whiskey tasting which was super cool (we got 4 different whiskeys, all with different noses and tastes, and I tried all of them). I actually really enjoyed it. I think I like whiskey. Then we went up to McCaig tower in Oban, where there were some spectacular views. Then on the bus ride back, we watched we’re the millers which was light fun. When we got back me and @mulan had an argument about something stupid related to shoes, I didn’t want to keeping taking my shoes on and off, but we eventually resolved it and it was fine.
