Prep Procedure

  1. 1.5 glasses of rice, put in cooker, rinse 1-2 times
  2. Measure double number of glasses you used for rice as the quantity of water (in this case 3-3.5 glasses), and soak water
  3. Cut up half an onion

Cooking procedure

  1. 1 kadhchi olive oil into broad pan
  2. Let oil heat up
  3. 1+ chamach zeera
  4. Wait till zeera is slightly brown and you can smell
  5. Put in onion
  6. Wait until onion is slightly sautéed and dark pink becomes lightish pink, keep stirring
    • Waited until onions are golden brown
  • Put in rice
  • Add salt (corresponding to amount of zeera). Optional: bit of garam masala, little bit of red peeper
  • Put it on medium gas

About 10 minutes, or until the rice are soft and cooked
