Always Have Something To Look Forward To
I didn’t get this from anywhere; this is something that I just thought of myself. Humans can be behaviorally manipulated like any other animal. The prospect of a stick at the end of the tunnel is enough to make even the most unappetizing of prospects into something that’s bearable. I don’t want to be in a position where I need to use this most of the time, but it’s good to have something as back-up to make sure that I don’t lose hope in the moment if I’m doing something I really don’t want to be doing.
